20 Questions With Billy Burke
With the release of both my debut album and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse falling within nearly a week of one another, I’ve been (needless to say) spread a little thin these days. With so much stuff going on, I feel like I haven’t been as accessible to you the subscribers as I’d like to be. One of the things that’s been so rewarding about the way we’ve decided to release this album is that with all the amazing comments, emails, tweets, and other interactive elements we’ve been employing, it’s created an atmosphere that’s a lot more intimate than these things normally are… and I like it.
In that spirit, I wanna take some time to talk about the things YOU ALL might wanna talk about. Instead of listening to some silly lame ass ask me if I’m team Edward or team Jacob, I think it might be fun to open the floor to some questions from the people that really matter.
Here’s how it’s gonna work:
You have a question? Post it in the comment field below. We’ll select 20 of them (or more depending on time constraints), I’ll video record the answers and whatever else the questions might evoke, then we’ll shoot you a link via email that hooks you up to where you can find the results.
Keep in mind:
The general theme here is music and the album but go ahead and ask me anything you want. I’ll try to answer as wide a variety as I can. My guess is that the more insightful or thought provoking your question is, the better chance it has of getting answered. (But not necessarily– I might answer some dumb ones too.)
Sometime within the next 48 hours or so the window for submissions will be locked up so get your questions in as soon as possible. I’ll get the answers taped and back to you as soon as I possibly can.

It is totally rockin’ that you are this close to your fanbase. I am a new writer (the first of many goals upon turning, *gulp*, forty) and as a former actress, I find that my wriitng is influenced by how I can hear the characters playing it out loud. When you are writing, what comes to you first? Is it music or lyrics?

One thing I would like to know is; This has been your own personal dream for many years, so do you feel that you are now where you wanted to be when you First aspired to go out and be this Wonderful Singer and a Very Talented Man all the way around?
Congratulations!! I’m really enjoying your music! I think the thing that capture my attention and not write you off as yet another actor trying to make a go of a music career was I heard that your dream and passion has always been music. People who are creative can always direct their skills into various avenues and we’ve enjoyed yours on the big screen. I believe one of the most incredible things to experience about another person is watching/listening to them when they are doing something they are passionate about – it transforms the ordinary to extra-ordinary. It is evident your passion is music. You have inspired me because you’re not a man in your twentie living out your dream. You have obviously worked long and hard to get to this point and you shoud be proud. I thank you for showin us all we should never give up on our dreams!! My question for you is, how does it feel to have reached this milestone as I’m sure this is just the beginning? What goals have you set for yourself now? What dreams are you aspiring to now? With the years that have passed now since you once first learned to play, and gave your soul to music, have you ever felt that longing, that desire within to bring it back to life (I’m assuming yes as you are about to release an album) but what I would like to know is how did that longing for what was missing transcend into your acting and did you know in your heart that music was always what you had a passion for?

i really enjoyed “removed”. i am impressed with the whole cast being so musical incline. i would love to hear one of all of ya’ll’s jams sessions. i bet it is one hell of some great music. i know you said “no team jacob or team edward”, well, i’m 42 yrs old and i want some shirts that say “team charlie”. my niece is all team jacob and squealing and i tell her i’ m team charlie and start sqealing. we have a great time together bonding over that. also, i love your dry sense of humor, that is great it makes the show. i love all your work, keep it up and my God bless.

RE: YOUR musical influences – Interviews with other cast members state that during down times the “musicians” of the cast got together and jammed.
