Let’s all just face it. We spend our whole lives seeking out the things we want and TRYING to obtain them, but aren’t the best things we end up getting almost ALWAYS accidents and surprises? Such was the case with this latest video. There was no planning or even any intention involved, at least on my part. Most of the footage was produced without my knowledge while I was away on location filming something else. The footage of ME was shot in about two hours (I just hammed it up for a couple of takes with my 3 year old daughter’s miniature guitar and drum set). Photographed and directed by Adam Mason, conceived and designed by Pollyanna Rose herself, this video came as a gift. All the credit goes to them with my shocked and humble gratitude.
Now I’m not sayin’ it’s not important that we work hard in order to enjoy the fruits of our labor and all that. Everyone knows the more you do, the more that comes back. But sometimes the results of those things we pour our guts into, turn out to be only half as rewarding as the “mystery fruits”. The ones that somehow look shinier and taste sweeter. The ones that get fertilized by the residual energy we put out there. The ones that come from the seeds we didn’t know we planted.
Much Love -bb

Nice work … I am delighted … congratulations.
So what do I think of Pollyanna Rose? Hmm, named after the Mrs ……..
Thought the guitar solo on the kids guitar was inspired as was the tiny drum kit. Is it time to move up to full size ones yet?
I like the faster tempo of the track. If found myself listening to it over and over. A good sign! The cd is en route from the US. I like what I’ve heard so far.
Just now ‘waking up’ to Billy Burke!
You have been in so many of my favourite movies and only seem to now being given the credit you deserve.
Love the music. Love the acting. You are also really inspirational to those talented musicians out there who want to make the music they love and if anyone else likes it, well then that’s ok too.
Fabulous!
I’m a SCI FI junky and recently became a fan of “Revolution”. Every episode I watched, I kept wondering why the heck you looked so damn familiar. Now I know. My niece (I’m 45) was big into “Twilight” when it first came out and I remember seeing part of the first movie. I’ve since watched them all, and while I’m not into the whole teen angst/young adult theme (anymore) I liked your portrayal of Charlie. Now I find out your a musician too (I play keyboards). Great song. The first I’ve heard, so I’m looking forward to hearing the rest. Regards
Billy your music is awsome and your such a great actor, I loved you in twilight but love you even more in revolution, not to mention that your one hot fine looking dude. Do you know that the filming of revolution isn’t to far from where I live, but I can’t wait for the new episodes of the movie to start back up. Keep the great music and movies coming.
Thank you for Removed. I love your style of singing. And lets keep the “Hard copies” of songs alive. Personally? I’d like to have kept vinyl alive. All the best with whatever you do in life.
LOVE IT!!
Well I started reading your other comments and see you have a show. I will be watching now. Can’t wait to see it.
Christine
I want to thank you for your free download of Removed. I love it. I think you are a wonderful actor and now I am finding I love your singing as well. I hope to see you in a show of your own soon. I would be one of your most dedicated fans.
Thank you for everything.
Christine
Love good old fashio story telling kind of music. Creative lyrics and really raw. Good job!!!
Try to make music that has more attitude, more bluesy.
So I figure I’m likin’ this guy, Billy Burke. Soooooo I decided to “read more about it” and found this website, and the fact that you are quite the fine musician. Well done, Mr Burke … well done.
I just wanted to say firstly– I’ve been enjoying watching the new hit show “Revolution” and watching you portray the character Miles, which you’ve been doing such an amazing job! (of course). I am now a big fan of that show, I’m always recording it and watching it with my family! Secondly, Now that I found your website and checked out your link of your song–well I was so taken back that not only can you act, but you can sing wicked good! I’m planing on adding your album to my Christmas list
Looking forward to watching tomorrows “Revolution”! and congrats on filming the last Twilight film, “Breaking Dawn P2″

After credits ran for some show called “Evolution,” I put two and two together. Enjoyed seeing “Billy Black’s Outcast Theater” when an old friend played bass with you (Jeff Waibel). I put together a band in the 90s with some friends that enjoyed moderate success with the Warner Bros. folks (called Super Deluxe)…fun stuff, but our records went triple plywood. Does Alexander’s Attraction have a home on one of your external hard drives? I’m just a happy family guy these days, and would love to download those songs. Now that I’m aware of it, I’ll check out your recent stuff, as well. All the best to you and your fam, Chris Lockwood
Bought your album and I just love it !
Favorite song; Seeing angels. It’s beautiful.
Your music calms me down and helps me through rough times, Thank you.

I love your Removed CD and I love your style! Video of Polyanna Rose was fantastic! What a great surprise!
Keep doin whatcha doin!
WOW!!! I loved the song!!
Your music reminds me of Stevie Nicks…the song After the Glitter Fades came to mind. You are really good. I still prefer you as an actor but the sexy voice is really cool also. Nice ink as well. You grew up in my time. I can relate. Keep up the good work.
Thank you,
Denise
Billy, what a nice surprise.
You have a great voice. You can bet I will be watching out for and purchasing your music. Love it.

I tried to subscribe to your websites RSS feed…but I received an error that your XML didn’t follow…blah blah…I just wanted to let you know. I use the Mozilla Firefox browser. I went on the Windows Internet Explorer & I was allowed to subscribe to your feeds. However it looks nothing like your active page. Maybe it’s just my lack of RSS feeds. But Mozilla Firefox will not let you access your feeds or subscribe. I loved you in Red Riding Hood….great character plot twist! I didn’t know you were in Twilight until I looked you up after the movie, lol. But even though I’m not a “Twihard” or whatever the crazy Twilight saga movies fans, I do enjoy them & your character. I want to look into more movie roles you have been in as well as check out more of your music.
Wow, I really love your voice…Music is amazing! My 8 year old son, Liam gets Guitar and Cello lessons every Saturday, Maybe he’ll be a star one day
keep up the good work, I will check back frequently!!
Happy Halloween!
Carrieanne
Very well said, Mr. Burke.
I have to agree with Petra – we want more video’s!! I, too, would love “vodka knows” but I swear if you do “Bluesy LaRue” you’ll make me snot sob – again. I do it every time I hear the song. I’m not kidding. I was sobbing at work listening to it the day the album came out. (I’ll be sure to send you the bill for the extra boxes of Kleenex I’ll need.) It’s such a beautiful thing for her to listen to when she’s older.
Speaking of Vodka, (i personally think every sentence should start this way) what brand do you drink?
Please tell Polly and Adam they did a great job with the video
Ali
The journey is the real destination and the trick to it all is to know when to stop and smell the roses!
Your new video is beautiful, B. Kudos to Polly and Adam (and of course to you)! I love all the images, those “little glimpses” as Rachelle calls them in the facebook comments. Especially the footage of Polly in London… my goodness, what a smile!
You’re looking mighty handsome there, too (screw sleeves, show more biceps!). Even though you’re trying to hide again. In the Removed video you were hiding behind sunglasses… here you’re mostly hiding in the light. Don’t do that!
As for the next video (yes, we want MORE!!!)… either make it one for a new song off your next album, or (and that’s what I’m really hoping for) Vodka Knows! Please?!
I’d love to see the ideas and images in your head that belong to my favorite song!
Keep up the great work, B, and please don’t make us wait too long for new songs and/or your next album!
Love,
Petra -Indy-
PS: What is it with musicians and buying miniature instruments for your kids?
Truer words have never been spoken. Sure, hard work can pay off, but it’s not always as rewarding.
Your video is beautiful. I love the way it is edited together.
I can’t wait to hear more music from you, and hopefully see you play live once again.
Once again, thank you for your gift of music. I love the video and I shared it on my facebook page as well as the Removed video. Keep them coming! I wish you could come to the east coast, like south central Virginia, or North Carolina. I would love to see you in person. Thanks again Billy!
A Big Fan-Cathy
